It's a fair point, and clearly if the PS3 Slim is on the way - it's not really aimed at people like you - at existing PS3 owners.

But I disliked the design (and mainly the size) of original PS2 so much that I rushed out and bought a PSTwo as soon as it was released. Same with the PSOne. I am unlikely to do the same with the PS3 - the design of the full fat one had grown on me over time, and I am not sure a slimmer lighter one would appeal that much. But who knows, when I see it in the plastic... I might do exactly the same.

But if the unit does exist - it is surely aimed at potential new buyers.

i will buy one 2 possibly depending on the price for the simple fact of lan-partys as it is easyer to have the hardware in one place and not have every body bring theres around iv found that you have the hardware arll ready people say yes but then if the slim ps3 if it is true be cheaper then the 40gb fat ps3 like the old fat ps2 would drop down in price as well making it a better opition for cheapness but lets just see Reply
